NEWLY-CROWNED NBA CHAMPION MARCO BELINELLI VISITS AUTOMOBILI LAMBORGHINI HEADQUARTERS
July 28, 2014 by LamborghiniSant'Agata Bolognese, 25th July 2014 - Basketball star Marco Belinelli, the first Italian to win an NBA championship, visited Automobili Lamborghini's Sant'Agata Bolognese headquarters this week. Belinelli, who won the 2013-2014 championship with the San Antonio Spurs, is also the first Italian to win the NBA Three-point Shootout during the league's 2014 All-Star Weekend. Accompanied by Automobili Lamborghini's Industrial Manager Ranieri Niccoli, Belinelli enjoyed a close up view of both the Coupé and Roadster versions of the Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4 as well as the new Huracán LP 610-4, which has been a huge success with customers all over the world since it first made its debut a few months ago. He also visited the Museum and its collection of classic Lamborghinis and the manufacturing plant where the most desirable sports cars in the world have been assembled since 1963. Marco Belinelli ended his visit with a test drive of the Aventador LP 700-4 Roadster together with Mario Fasanetto, test driver and test technician at the House of the Raging Bull. 'This has been a truly unique experience for me, a childhood dream come true. When I was little I used to watch the Lamborghini Diablo fly past at my home nearby.
