1957 Ford Custom Fireball Roberts news, pictures, and information

The car has over 70 changes from the stock original. Those changes include: Paxton supercharger, 3 deletes, seat belts, roll bar, 8 extra shocks, coil springs cut (with right side higher), steering wheel taped (over a sponge in center as an 'air bag'), station wagon wheels with 800X 14 bias ply tires, added gas tank (in trunk) with quick access by stretch rope (before bungees), as on hood along with a center handle for 'quick lift.' The headlights and taillights have been removed and covered. A leather strap is used to hold the transmission in 2nd gear. Safety gear included a helmet, goggles and seat 'Granny.'
