The 1937 Bantam Prototype pickup truck was built in Butler, Pa. by the Bantam Motor Car Company. The company built passenger cars, coupes, delivery and panel trucks until 1941 when it went out of business.
The Bantam was the predecessor of the American Austin built as an economy car.
