Introduced in 1999 the Zender Escape 6 concept was capable of accelerating from 0-60 mph in 5.7 seconds and could reach a top speed of 146 mph. The Zender Escape weighed a very low 1,870 lbs. With a 6 cylinder engine in V 2792 cm³ 12 valves, it was capable of 236 Nm torque at 4200 Trs/Min. The transmission was rear wheel drive and had a 5 gear gearbox.
