Special Series Travel Utility Sedan

Produced in December 1951 by the Kaiser Frazer Corporation of Willow Run, MI. Body styling is by Howard 'Dutch' Darrin, one of the leading industrial designers of the time. The engine is Kaisers own 226 cubic-inch, 115 horsepower, flathead 6-cylinder.

This Traveler is painted the original Kaiser color of Turquoise Blue over Cerulean Blue and features a totally original 'Dinosaur' vinyl upholstery. You will notice that it has a very utilitarian rear entry door (the beginning of hatchback design0 that served many purposes, from camping to farmers hauling hay.

Kaiser started production of cars immediately after WWII and continued in business until 1955.

This car came equipped with a padded dash, and the windshield pops out on impact. There is a Hydramatic transmission and factory Continental Kit.

There were 550 2 Door Coupes Produced. At new the car cost $2,337.
