INFINITI QX60 named 2023 TOP SAFETY PICK+ by Insurance Institute for Highway Safety
The 2023 INFINITI QX60 has once again been recognized for its excellence in safety features by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) with a TOP SAFETY PICK+ designation. QX60 retains its top rating after IIHS strengthened the requirements for its awards this year.
QX60 provides peace of mind and confidence with a standard suite of safety technologies that includes Forward Emergency Braking with pedestrian detection, Predictive Forward Collision Warning, Rear Cross-Traffic Alert, Rear Automatic Braking, Blind Spot Warning, Lane Departure Warning and High Beam Assist. In addition, the QX60 offers available, advanced driver-assistance technologies, such as Intelligent Around View® Monitor with Moving Object Detection, a Smart Rear View Mirror, Driver Attention Alert, Traffic Sign Recognition and ProPILOT Assist with Navi-link.
'INFINITI is committed to delivering products that help make our owners' lives safer and more convenient,' said Craig Keeys, group vice president, INFINITI Americas. 'We are honored that the spacious, premium QX60 has been recognized with an IIHS TOP SAFETY PICK+ rating.'

Changes to the IIHS rating criteria for 2023 include an updated side-impact test; the addition of a nighttime vehicle-to-pedestrian front crash prevention test; and a new requirement that 'acceptable' or 'good'-rated headlights are standard. As a result of the stricter requirements, fewer vehicles overall received 2023 TOP SAFETY PICK or TOP SAFETY PICK+ awards.
