1928 Chevrolet One-Ton Truck news, pictures, and information

Truck
Coachwork: Fisher

By 1928 Chevrolet had established itself as a significant U.S. manufacturer of trucks as well as automobiles.

The cab of this truck was actually built by General Motors' in-house body builder, Fisher Body Co.

This example was a 'barn find' - discovered by the current owners in 2008. The restoration was immediately begun and work was completed in spring of 2009. The truck was completely disassembled for the restoration. The engine and drive train were completely rebuilt. The color is as-original. The 171 cubic-inch, four-cylinder motor develops 21.7 horsepower.
