Stearns was the first auto builder in the United States to license the Knight design engine in1 1911 and afterwards was known as the Stearns-Knight Company. John North Willys purchased the company in 1925 and became the ultra-luxury component of his Willys-Overland empire.
This Stearns Knight N6-80 is powered by a 255 cubic-inch six-cylinder sleeve-valve engine that delivers 70 horsepower. The wheelbase measures 134 inches and originally sold for $2645.
