The Mazda2 Street version is a performance option available on the Mazda2. Improvements have been made to improve handling with Toyo Proxes RA-1 tires mounted on 15x9-inch alloy wheels. It has a light gray metallic paint job with matte graphic accents.
The Mazda2 Street made its debut at the 2010 SEMA show. It was joined by several other performance examples, including the Mazda MX-5 Super20, which is powered by a supercharged Cosworth-modified engine, 16-inch Enkei RPF1 wheels wrapped with Toyo Proxes RA-1 tires and wider fenders. Other cars on display included the Mazda 2 Evil track, and other modified Mazda 2s and 3s at SEMA.
