Don, with Jud Phillips as Chief Mechanic, started the 1965 Indy 500 Race 18th and finished 8th, and it was Branson's last Indy finish. The team ran three U.S.A.C. events.
Walt Flynn acquired the car in 1966 and entered the Indy 500 as the 'Enterprise Machine Special' #35 driven by Ralph Liquori. In 1967, #35 was entered in six U.S.A.C. events.
Pat O'Reilly, John Gavan and Mike DeMulling bought the car in 1968 and entered the 1969 Indy 500 race as the 'Minnesota Serendipity' #51 driven by Dee Jones. After body changes, turbocharging and many U.S.A.C. races as well as in 150 races in Rafaela, Argentina, #51 was retired at the end of the 1972 season.
Changing hands six more times over the next 28 years until 2000, when the current owner bought it and started the restoration. The car was first shown at the 2010 Indy 500 Vintage event.

The 1990 and 1994 CART champion will return to the site of his first Indy Car win in 1984 at Portland International Raceway.
