Bahrain Gp - A Hot Afternoon Of Testing
Sakhir, 19 April – The tenth Bahrain Grand Prix looks like being very closely contested as, at the end of the second free practice session, the top 6 cars were all in the same four tenths of a second. Fernando Alonso and Felipe Massa ended the day fourth and sixth, with the Spaniard doing a best lap of 1.34.310 on the Hard tyres. Massa posted a 1.34.552 on the Mediums. Quickest was Kimi Raikkonen in the Lotus in 1.34.154. The Scuderia Ferrari men completed a total of 63 trouble-free ...[Read more...]
MALAYSIAN GP - PREDICTABLY UNPREDICTABLE
The hordes of Malaysians who commute by scooter every day have an interesting method of keeping dry; they wear their waterproof jackets with the zips at the back to fend off the driving rain. At the Sepang circuit this afternoon in FP2, the F1 drivers simply chose to drive back into the pits and fit intermediate tyres, as the traditional afternoon storm, not a heavy one today, hit the track. It meant that on the very first day of practice, the Scuderia Ferrari drivers managed to try both the dry...[Read more...]

Massa On Track At Interlagos
There are less than two weeks to go until the Formula 1 World Championship gets back on track, but Felipe Massa could not resist the temptation of getting back behind the wheel, especially as it was on his beloved Interlagos circuit. The opportunity arose with the fourth round of the Copa Fiat, the name given this year to what was known as the Trofeo Linea. The Scuderia driver was quickest in both free practice sessions held today and he was able to assess the updates introduced on the cars, esp...[Read more...]
GERMAN GP: MASSA: 'A LONG SEASON IS FINE FOR ME'
One of the most noteworthy points about this weekend's German Grand Prix is that, after plenty of exciting and incident packed races, we are only now approaching the one that marks the halfway point of this, the longest season in the history of Formula 1. For Felipe Massa that's no problem at all. 'It does not feel like a long year to me now, although everything is related to how well you are doing on the track,' claims the Scuderia Ferrari driver. 'In my situation, I have had some strong races ...[Read more...]
