Renault's Constructors' Titles
The 2012 title is the 11th constructors' championship that Renault has taken in the sport. After joining forces with Williams at the end of the 80s, the first constructors' championship came in 1992. It was then followed by successive titles in 1993 and 1994. Renault teamed up with Benetton in 1995 and immediately took another crown, before Williams again took the title in 1996 and 1997; the sixth consecutive title to be powered by Renault. Formula One - Monaco GP Race Report
The Lotus F1 Team came away disappointed from Monaco on Sunday after securing just two world championship points courtesy of a ninth place finish for Kimi Raikkönen , despite an encouraging qualifying session on Saturday. Although Raikkönen struggled to get his tyres up to temperature on his way to eighth on the grid, team-mate Romain Grosjean finished the session in fifth, before being promoted to fourth when Mercedes' Michael Schumacher took a five-place grid penalty. It was all over for t...[Read more...]
Monaco Grand Prix: Race
Nico Rosberg converted second place on the grid into a second-place finish this afternoon at the 70th Monaco Grand Prix. Never give up, especially in Formula 1

Back then too, one of the winners was a Ferrari, driven by Patrick Tambay in the San Marino Grand Prix at Imola, whereas today it is Fernando Alonso who is part of the quintet. This Sunday just gone is the closest the Spaniard has come to repeating his home win of 2006: Fernando was in a fight right to the very l...[Read more...]
Formula One - Spanish Grand Prix
Kimi Raikkonen bagged his second podium on the trot in Barcelona, charging hard to finish third behind first time grand prix winner Pastor Maldonado and, by just half a second, Fernando Alonso. The Finn was disappointed not to finish on the top step, though, claiming that the Lotus E20 had the potential to have won every race this year so far. Nevertheless, he is now fourth in the Drivers' Championship, just 12 points behind leaders Sebastian Vettel and Fernando Alonso. Starting on the sec...[Read more...]
