2008 Super Aguri SA08 news, pictures, and information

The Super Aguri SA08 was driven during the 2008 Formula One season by Takuma Sato and Anthony Davidson. Powering the car was a Honda 2.4-liter V8 mated to a 7-speed sequential semi-automatic gearbox. The SA08 rested on a re-worked RA107 chassis used unsuccessfully by Honda F1 in the 2007 F1 season.

During the first three grand prix's, the team qualified last and would finish the season in last place in the World Constructors Championship after not scoring any points.

The team planed on unveiling the car in Barcelona on February 19th but due to financial problems they had to postpone the launch. On March 10th, just prior to the start of the Australian grand Prix, team boss Aguri Suzuki revealed that their 2008 challenger would be unveiled on March 14th during Friday practice.

The car competed in only four Grand Prixs before the team withdrew from Formula One due to financial problems.
