Citroen unveiled the C-Quatre sedan for the emerging Chinese market at the Auto Shanghai 2009 motor event. This vehicle is based on the new hatchback Citroen C4. Previously, the C-Quatre was known as the C-Triomphe. Along with its new name, the vehicle features design elements that are carried over from the face-lifted Citroen C4.
The sedan version is a production of a joint-venture between Dongfeng Motor Corporation and Peugeot-Citroen PSA and it features a restyled front end as well as a slightly touched-up side profile along with a sedan rear end, instead of the C4's hatchback.
