The Renault AX was manufactured by the Renault Company of France. Louis Renault was one of the early automobile manufacturers who offered smaller, reliable, popularly-priced automobiles.

The Renault AX was produced from 1908 to 1914 and remained virtually unchanged throughout production. Some would say that the Renault AX was France's version of the popular Ford Model T.

The AX was powered by a water-cooled, side valve, two-cylinder engine with a displacement of 1060cm and a power rating of six to eight horsepower. Maximum speed is approximately 35 miles per hour.
The Renault Type AX was produced from 1908 through 1914. Power was from a 1060cc engine that had two cylinders and around 12 horsepower. Top speed was in the neighborhood of 55 kilometers per hour from the 750 kg vehicle.
