Cca Plans Biggest Ever One-Day Classic Car Auction•172 cars up for auction on Saturday, 23rd September at the Warwickshire Exhibition Centre

•Lots include modern classics, restoration projects and entry level cars with no reserve

•Cult classics on offer including 28 BMWs, 20 Porsches, 18 Mercedes and a range of Japanese and American cars

Warwickshire-based auction house, Classic Car Auctions (CCA), will hold its biggest ever one-day classic car auction at its September Sale on 23rd September at the Warwickshire Exhibition Centre.

With 172 lots from the likes of Jaguar, Porsche, BMW, Mercedes and Aston Martin, the bumper auction offers plenty of opportunities for both experienced and first time buyers.

Among the wide variety of cars for sale, 11 entry-level classics will be offered at 'No Reserve', including a rare 1959 Ford100E Prefect, a former Concours d'Elegance award winning 1964 Triumph Spitfire 4 Mk I and a 1970 MG Midget racer.

For buyers looking for investment opportunities, modern classics including a 1990 Lotus Elan and a 1991 Volkswagen Golf GTI, will also to be offered at 'No Reserve'.

Classic cars with a cult following are expected to draw huge attention, including a superb 1991 Audi Quattro Turbo 20v with an auction estimate of £35,000 to £40,000, a restored 1988 Ford Capri 280 Brooklands Turbo Technics with an auction estimate of £30,000 to £35,000, and a 1984 Peugeot 205 GTI in near original condition estimated at £14,000 to £18,000.

Gary Dunne, sales manager at CCA explains: 'As our biggest ever one-day sale to date with 172 lots for auction, there's a great deal of excitement building for the September Sale and it's certain to be a great day out with plenty of drama!'

Rare and collectible cars include a 1988 Porsche 944 Turbo S 'Silver Rose', one of just 77 made, a 1982 Ferrari Mondial Quattrovalve, one of just 152 produced in right-hand drive, and a 1971 NSU Prinz 4L, one of just 12 surviving examples.

At the higher end of the market, classic Porsches are much in evidence including a fine example of the legendary eighties super car, a UK right-hand drive 930-type 911 Turbo in Guards Red estimated at £60,000 - £70,000. From the sixties there is a 1969 Porsche 911E Targa in great condition after a rigorous recommissioning. The 911E has been in the vendor's hands for two years, but previously resided with the same family for 40 years in Nevada.

'There's something for everyone in this sale, as befits our 'Everyman Classics' slogan,' adds Gary. 'From no-reserve cars and projects to rare and collectible classics, there are opportunities for everyone from first-timers to experienced collectors.'

With large crowds expected, the auction house will hold a dedicated viewing afternoon on Friday 22nd September from 12 noon to 6pm. Doors open on Saturday 23rd September at 9am with viewing available until 11am when the auction starts.

Purchase of a £5 auction catalogue admits two people into the auction, with free entry for children under the age of 12 years.

The Warwickshire Exhibition Centre offers free parking, disabled access and an on-site cafeteria serving hot and cold food and drinks.
