1935 Posies Aeroliner

This one-off Posies Aeroliner was conceived in 2001 and built in 2005. It was inspired by 1930s-era European coachbuilders and sporting cars of the past. This car rides on a 139-inch wheelbase. It is powered by a Roush 427R engine using an aluminum DART V8 block which develops 525 horsepower and is fitted with a 4-barrel Holley carburetor. The transmission is a C-6 with Gear-Vendors overdrive unit and stopping is accomplished with Wilwood 14-inch rotors with 6 piston calipers. It is fitted with a pair of Corvette bucket seats. Eighteen-inch front wheels and twenty-inch rear wheels are Colorado Custom Leavenworth by Posies and fitted with BF Goodrich G-Ford tires. The current owner purchased the car in 2006.
