The Vauxhall Prince Henry was manufactured from 1911 to 1914. The name was chosen for the company's accomplishments in the 1910 Motor Trials named in honor of Prince Henry of Prussia. Vauxhall entered three specially prepared C-10 models in the 1200-mile-long event. Two of the Vauxhalls got full marks for reliability. The success of the Vauxhalls inspired people's desire for cars of this special type, which Vauxhall began offering in 1911 as a regular product. When introduced in 1911, the engine was a four-cylinder engine that displaced 3054cc and featured side valves operated by pushrods from a camshaft low in the block. By 1913, the displacement had grown to 3969cc.
