Now in its 15th year of production, the 2017 Porsche Cayenne line-up includes the standard Cayenne, the first plug-in SÚV, the Cayenne S E-Hybrid, the twin-turbocharged V6 Cayenne S and GTS, and twin-turbocharged V8 Cayenne Turbo and Cayenne Turbo S.

Like all Porsche vehicles, the Cayenne model range has been individually calibrated to provide the most Porsche-like experience in its class. That means putting an emphasis on straight-line performance and handling, while simultaneously providing a 7700 pound towing capacity (excluding Cayenne S E-Hybrid), class-leading five-seat interior, and a high degree of customization opportunities.

Standard on all Porsche Cayenne models, Porsche Traction Management, ensure your Porsche experience doesn't stop when the weather turns cold, or the road gives way to dirt.

The Cayenne exudes enthusiasm. Any time, any place.

This is ensured by its 3.6-liter V6 engine, which generates no less than 300 hp at 6,300 rpm. Thanks to direct fuel injection (DFI), continuously variable valve timing on both inlet and exhaust and 8-speed Tiptronic S as standard, it accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in 7.3 seconds.

8-speed Automatic
For a high power output wîth comparably low fuel consumption, the car features a variable resonance intake manifold. Efficiency is enhanced as standard wîth the Auto Start Stop function.


Acceleration, traction and ride comfort are all improved by Porsche Traction Management (PTM) and Porsche Stability Management (PSM). The steel-spring suspension also meets high standards when it comes to performance, driving pleasure and off-road capability.

8-speed Tiptronic S

Thanks to a particularly wide ratio spread, the 8-speed Tiptronic S lowers fuel consumption – and increases comfort and dynamic agility. The low engine speeds in the higher gears reduce the noise level inside the vehicle. The 8-speed Tiptronic S shifts gear automatically and adapts to your individual driving style.

New features include the extended auto start/stop function. This cuts the engine not only when the vehicle stops, but also if you are approaching traffic lights, for example.

Porsche Traction Management (PTM)
PTM comprises of an active all-wheel drive system wîth an electronically variable, map-controlled multi-plate clutch, automatic brake differential (ABD) and anti-slip regulation (ASR).

The electronically controlled multi-plate clutch helps to ensure optimum distribution of force between the permanently driven rear axle and the front axle. The driving conditions are continuously monitored to enable the system to respond to a variety of situations. During cornering, the required level of engine torque is distributed to the front wheels to provide excellent lateral stability. The result: perfect distribution of drive torque at all times.

Exterior design
The prowess of the new Cayenne is clearly reflected in the design: the front and rear sections have been completely revised. They are now sharper and even more sophisticated. The new hood, new front fenders, new main headlights and modified air intakes lend the car even greater presence. It is more athletic and muscular than ever before.

The precisely contoured sides make it clear that this is a sports car wîth character and stature. The new exterior mirrors wîth integrated indicators and wheels in a range of sizes up to 21 inches – wîth new attractive styling – serve to emphasize the car's dynamics. An impression that is confirmed by a number of other new details including the standard daytime running lights featuring four integral LED daytime running lights, as well as the new LED taillights and integrated tailpipes.
