2017 Ford E-Series

2017 Ford E-Series
The Ford E-Series – America's best-selling van for more than 30 years – has been synonymous with work vans since the model's introduction in 1961. Smart technology updates help E-Series operators master today's mobile, 24/7 work environment.

The robust E-Series chassis can tow up to a best-in-class 10,000 pounds when properly equipped, and payload tops out at 3,920 pounds. Three engine choices and three wheelbase options make it easy to match the new 2014 Ford E-Series to workplace demands.

At the same time, E-Series Wagon continues to offer transportation options for families and organizations with a lot of people to move, with seating for up to 15 passengers in extended versions.

E-Series highlights:
•Class-exclusive connectivity of SYNC® system, which can integrate with smartphones and other devices using hands-free Bluetooth® technology for safer voice-based calling
•Crew Chief™ telematics gives fleet managers real-time operating data
•Instrument panel-mounted Navigation System with 6.5-inch touch-screen display
•Standard audio input jack, for MP3 players
•Seating for up to 15 passengers (E-350 Super Duty Extended)
•Tow rating up to 10,000 pounds (E-350 Super Duty with 6.8-liter SOHC V10 engine)
•Ford's leading safety and security features, including:•AdvanceTrac® with RSC® (Roll Stability Control™)
•Driver and front passenger airbags
•Side-intrusion door beams
•Four-wheel Anti-Lock Braking System
•Tire Pressure Monitoring System
•Three-point seat belts for all seating positions

All the power you need.

When looking for plenty of working muscle, look no further than the Ford E-Series Cutaway.

Two engine choices let you match power to your particular application. The standard 6.8L Triton® V10 delivers 305 horsepower and 420 lb.-ft. of best-in-class torque.* And now, you can power your E-Series with the available 6.2L flex-fuel V8 rated at 331 horsepower and 356 lb.-ft. of torque. Both engines are teamed with the proven, durable Ford-built TorqShift® 6-speed automatic transmission. (posted on conceptcarz.com)

6.8L Triton® V10 engine with TorqShift® Transmission

2017 Ford E-SeriesFeaturing a brawny 305 horsepower and best-in-class gas torque* of 420 lb.-ft., the standard 6.8L Triton® V10 is engineered for big applications requiring lots of raw power. It's coupled with the Ford-built TorqShift® 6-speed automatic transmission, which includes a selectable tow/haul mode that compensates for altitude, grade and load conditions.

New 6.2L Flex-Fuel V8

2017 Ford E-Series
Introducing the available 6.2L flex-fuel V8 with years of proven performance on tough Super Duty® jobs. Rated at 331 horsepower and 356 lb.-ft. of torque, the 6.2L features single overhead-cam design and dual-equal variable-cam timing — features that optimize power across the entire power band. Available is the CNG/LPG Gaseous Engine Prep Package* that converts fuel type from conventional unleaded gasoline to compressed natural gas or liquified propane autogas. What's more, this prep package along with required aftermarket upfitting makes the 6.2L bi-fuel capable, enabling it to run on either unleaded gasoline or propane autogas.
Advanced Fuels
A CNG/LPG Gaseous Engine Prep Package* is available that allows the standard 6.8L Triton® V10 and the available 6.2L flex-fuel V8 to run on advanced fuels — compressed natural gas or liquefied propane autogas — in lieu of conventional unleaded gasoline. With this package plus additional upfits, the 6.2L attains bi-fuel capability, enabling it to run on either unleaded gasoline or propane autogas.

Six-speed TorqShift® Automatic with Overdrive

The Ford TorqShift® 6-speed automatic transmission features a selectable tow/haul mode that reduces gear hunting when operating on hilly terrain and also activates engine braking when descending steep grades. It's designed and built by Ford to handle the high-performance demands of the standard 6.8L Triton® V10 (305 horsepower and 420 lb.-ft. torque) and the new available 6.2L flex-fuel V8 (331 horsepower and 356 lb.-ft. or torque).
