THREE CANDIDATES NAMED FOR 21st GORSLINE SCHOLARSHIP

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (March 9, 2015) - Three of auto racing's rising stars, who have already demonstrated their talents on North American and European race tracks as teenagers, are candidates for the 21st Gorsline Scholarship in 2015.

The Gorsline Scholarship is presented by Gorsline Company of Rochester, N.Y., the leader in high-risk motorsports insurance. It recognizes aspiring drivers and presents a program that provides tools that will assist these drivers in developing skills on and off the track to attain their professional goals.

The 2015 scholarship winner will be named on Thursday, March 19, during the 63rd annual Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring (Fla.) fueled by Fresh From Florida, and will work with Dr. Jacques Dallaire, Director of Performance Prime, to create an individually-designed performance-enhancement program, and will benefit from a unique season-long training program at Jim Leo's PitFit Training, courtesy of Gorsline Company.

'Each of these drivers is already on a path to success in his chosen career as a race-car driver. By starting at such a young age, they are able to advance their on-track talents to a very high level,' said John Gorsline, principal of Gorsline Company. 'We at Gorsline Company are excited to recognize the achievements of them all and to assist them in their progress. They are true rising stars.'

Matthew Brabham was the 2014 recipient of the Gorsline Scholarship.

The candidates for the 2015 Gorsline Scholarship are:

Dylan Murry (Cumming, Ga.) - At 14 years old, Dylan has been racing for five years and has earned seven championships in Karts and Legends cars, including the 2010 Andretti Pro Cup Karting title, the 2012 and 2013 GSKA and Southeastern divisional championships, the 2011 and 2013 (in two classes) World Karting Association national championships, and the 2014/15 Legends Atlanta Motor Speedway Championship. Son of David Murry, Firestone Firehawk and World Challenge Series' champion, who drives a BMW in the 2015 IMSA Continental Tire ST Series, Dylan is racing in the 2015 Legends Series including 'Thursday Thunder' at Atlanta Motor Speedway.

Skylar Robinson (Augusta, Ga.) - Skylar, 18, began his karting career in 2008, becoming the Briggs Junior Lite, Junior Medium and Junior Restricted champion in the 2010 World Karting Association. In 2011 he was the KPP Junior Champion and Yamaha Junior Champion in the Florida Karting Championship Series. Switching to cars in 2012, he was third in the 2012-13 Skip Barber Winter Series championship, was the 2013 British Racing and Sports Car Club Formula Ford Triple Crown Champion, and Vice Champion in the same group's National Championship. In 2014 he placed a close second in the SCCA Pro F2000 Championship Series. Son of IMSA/CART/IROC racer Chip Robinson, he has won 15 of the 42 auto races in which he's competed.

Madison Snow - (Lehi, Utah) - Madison turned 19 in December. He started racing at age 5 in karts and continues to race karts along with cars, earning numerous karting wins and championships. In 2010, at the age of 14 he raced a Miata in MPRA, a series at Miller Motorsports Park, placing second in the championship. He moved up to racing Porsches in 2011 at age 15, winning the IMSA GT3 Gold Class Championship, and again in 2013. He was the youngest driver to win a Porsche Cup race. In the 2014 IMSA TUDOR GTD class he placed third in Daytona and second at Petit LeMans. He continues in TUDOR GTD in 2015 and is a member of a family of racers, including Melanie Snow, Martin Snow and McKay Snow.
