MERCEDES, JAGUAR, FORD, TOYOTA, ASTON MARTIN, SCION, KIA & SMART JOIN GROWING LIST OF CARMAKERS MAKING NEW YORK DEBUTSAdding to a growing list of companies making news in New York City next week, Mercedes-Benz, Jaguar, Ford, Aston Martin, Kia, Scion and Smart have all recently announced that they will unveil exciting new products to the world's press.

ASTON MARTIN

The Aston Martin Vulcan - a track only supercar producing some 800-plus bhp - joins the British luxury sports car maker's presence in New York fresh from a global reveal at the Geneva International Motor Show earlier in March. Fronting a new seven-car display led, the Aston Martin Vulcan will be joined by examples from the current Aston Martin product range in North America including the new Vanquish Carbon, Rapide S, DB9, V12 Vantage S and the V8 Vantage GT Roadster.

KIA

Instantly recognizable yet fresh, Kia will introduce the world debut of the all-new 2016 Optima at the Show. Available with multiple engine choices, the all-new Optima features a more spacious interior, class-up premium features and a number of technologies not previously offered on Kia's best-selling mid-size sedan.

MERCEDES-BENZ

Mercedes-Benz has chosen New York for the world premieres of its high-performance SUV models, the Mercedes-AMG GLE63 4MATIC and the GLE63 S 4MATIC. The highlights of the thoroughly revised SUV include considerable changes to the front and tail ends and extensive measures which set new benchmarks with regard to emissions and drive system possibilities.

It will be powered specially engineered 2.3-liter EcoBoost® engine producing more than 315 horsepower, most powerful RS brake system ever with Brembo front calipers

JAGUAR

The all-new Jaguar XF will make its global debut at the Show revealing the cars new interior space and elegantly proportioned exterior changes.

SCION

Scion will unveil its new iM and iA models for the first time - iM and iA. The Scion iM is a 5-door hatchback that combines maximum versatility with a sporty design and a fun-to-drive experience. The Scion iA sedan is designed to appeal to young people who need a little more practicality, but still want engaging styling and outstanding driving dynamics.

SMART

The all-new smart is making its U.S. debut at the Show before arriving in dealerships in September. The new fortwo has undergone improvements in virtually all areas. Drive power is supplied by a state-of-the-art three-cylinder engine rated at 89 hp, while power transmission is performed by a five-speed manual transmission or the twinamic automatic dual clutch transmission.

The Auto Show runs from April 3 - 12 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in Manhattan. Press Preview days are April 1 & 2.
