WORLD'S LARGEST COLLECTOR CAR AUCTION COMPANY IN SEATTLE JUNE 5-6• Mecum Auction to Feature 600 American Muscle Cars, Classics, Hot Rods and More

Walworth, Wis. – May 11, 2015 – Mecum Auctions, the largest collector car auction company, will host its second-annual classic and collector car auction in Seattle at CenturyLink Field Event Center June 5-6 with an anticipated lineup of 600 American muscle cars, classics, Corvettes, hot rods, Resto Mods and more expected to cross the auction block from an estimated 20 surrounding states.

Among the main attractions consigned for the Mecum Seattle auction is the John Wickey Collection (Lots S94-S98), an assemblage of five blue-chip muscle cars highlighted by a 1968 Shelby GT500KR Fastback that is arguably the finest of its kind. The car was restored by Mustang Club of America judge Tom Mynes and has captured an unprecedented 10 consecutive MCA Thoroughbred Gold Awards.

Other auction headliners include a Bloomington Gold Survivor Certified 1969 Chevrolet Corvette L88 coupe (Lot S161), one of just 116 produced that year, as well as Seattle's own Roy Cats Lamborghini Collection of six fine examples of the Italian-made luxury sports cars.

'We had a historical first-year auction last year with record-setting sale of the $3.5-million Hemi Cuda and are excited to return to return to Seattle next month with more of the world's greatest muscle cars,' comments Dana Mecum, president and founder of Mecum Auctions. 'The consignments from the John Wickey Collection are spectacular and will draw attention from Shelby fans and muscle car enthusiasts worldwide, and with nearly 600 cars in total, consignments run the gamut of enthusiast favorites.'

The auction is open to buyers, sellers and spectators. Bidder registration is $100 and includes admission for two for both auction days. General admission tickets are available at the gate for $20 per person, per day; children 12 and younger receive complimentary admission. Doors open each day at 8 a.m. with the auction beginning at 10 a.m. NBC Sports Network will broadcast 7.5 hours of the auction, and a live stream of the entire auction will be presented at Mecum.com.

Mecum's website is updated daily with the latest consignments including detailed descriptions and photographs of the vehicles. To view the list, to consign a vehicle or to register as a bidder for this and all Mecum auctions, visit www.mecum.com or call (262) 275-5050.
