◾Jaguar Land Rover U.S. July sales increase 7 percent with 6,253 units sold for the company's best July retail month since 2005

◾Land Rover up 8 percent for the 2nd best Land Rover July sales month ever driven by Range Rover Evoque and Discovery Sport

◾Range Rover Evoque sets new all-time U.S. sales high with 1,497 units sold, up 69 percent

◾Jaguar up 5 percent on Jaguar XF sales growth.

(MAHWAH, NJ) - Aug 1, 2015 - Jaguar Land Rover North America today reported July 2015 U.S. sales. Sales for both brands hit 6,253 units, a 7 percent increase from 5,830 units in July 2014. Land Rover sales reached 5,011 units up 8 percent from 4,643 units in July 2014; Jaguar sales were 1,242 units, up 5 percent from 1,187 units in July 2014.

Year-to-date in 2015, Jaguar Land Rover U.S. sales hit 46,401 units, an increase of 15 percent over 2014.

'We continued to see strong demand for both Jaguar and Land Rover brands this month, allowing us to hit our best July sales results since 2005 and our best Range Rover Evoque month ever,' said Joe Eberhardt, President

and CEO of Jaguar Land Rover North America. 'We are pleased that through July of this year we have solid growth of 15 percent and are well set to launch multiple new products in the months ahead.'

Land Rover had its second best July retail month ever (2005 was the best ever) with 5,011 total units sold this month. Range Rover Evoque had its best sales month ever, with 1,497 sales, up 69 percent from 888 sales in July 2014.

Year to date 2015, Land Rover is at an all-time U.S. high of 37,323 sales, up 21 percent from 2014.

Land Rover's 2015 model year line-up features five models: The 240-hp turbocharged 2.0 liter Land Rover Discovery Sport and Range Rover Evoque; the LR4 powered by a 340-hp supercharged 3.0 liter V6 engine; the Range Rover Sport and Range Rover, available with either a 340-hp supercharged 3.0 liter V6 or 510-hp supercharged 5.0 liter V8 powertrain.

For 16 MY, Land Rover will add two special editions to the Range Rover Sport lineup, the Range Rover Sport HST, available in either a 3.0L Supercharged V6 380hp engine or a 5.0L Supercharged V8 510hp engine with added SVR aero package and the 550-hp Range Rover Sport SVR.

Jaguar

For Jaguar, sales increased 5 percent to 1,242 units. The volume and growth leader in July was the Jaguar XF, up 96 percent with 470 units sold vs. 240 in July 2014.

For the first half of 2015, Jaguar brand is down 4 percent to 9,078 units from 9,504 in 2014. Jaguar F-TYPE sales for the year have increased 15 percent to 2,577 units from 2,238 YTD 2014.

In 2015, the 16 MY Jaguar F-TYPE is newly available with options of all-wheel drive and a manual transmission and now comes standard with the best warranty and longest scheduled maintenance package of any luxury sports car in the market with five-years or 60,000 miles coverage.

The 2015 Jaguar line-up features four models: The Jaguar XJ luxury sedan, powered by a 340-hp supercharged 3.0 liter V6 in rear-wheel or all-wheel-drive configuration, a 470-hp supercharged 5.0 liter V8 or a 550-hp supercharged 5.0 liter V8 in the XJR model. The Jaguar XF sports sedan comes in a number of variations: 240-hp turbocharged four cylinder engine, a 340-hp supercharged 3.0 liter V6 in rear-wheel or all-wheel-drive configurations, a 470-hp supercharged 5.0 liter V8, a 510-hp Supercharged 5.0 liter V8 in the XFR and a 550-hp Supercharged 5.0 liter V8 in the XFR-S. In its final year, the XK coupe and convertible grand touring models are powered by either a 385-hp 5.0 liter V8 or a 510-hp supercharged 5.0 liter V8 in the XKR. Jaguar also offers the Jaguar XKR-S coupe and convertible with a 550-hp supercharged 5.0 liter V8.

For 16 MY, the new F-TYPE line-up, the F-TYPE Coupe and Convertible, are powered by either a 340-hp supercharged 3.0 liter V6, a 380-hp supercharged 3.0 liter V6 in the F-TYPE S or a 550-hp supercharged 5.0 liter V8 in the F-TYPE R.

At the 2015 New York International Auto Show, Jaguar Land Rover introduced the second generation, new-from-the-ground-up,16 MY Jaguar XF sedan. Based on Jaguar's new aluminum-intensive architecture, the new XF will come to market in fall, 2015. In 2016 the Jaguar lineup in the U.S. will expand with the addition of the Jaguar XE compact sports sedan and the Jaguar F-PACE performance crossover.
