Pinehurst Concours d'Elegance Tickets on Sale Nov. 2

VILLAGE OF PINEHURST, N.C. (Oct. 8, 2015) – Tickets to the fourth annual Pinehurst Concours d'Elegance at Pinehurst Resort will go on sale online and at several local ticket outlets in the Sandhills on Monday, Nov. 2.
The vintage car showcase of rare and pristine collector automobiles will be staged on the fairways of one of golf's historic locales on Saturday, April 30, at 9 a.m., and will once again be followed by a live concert.
Last year's Pinehurst Concours and concert featuring Three Dog Night drew in excess of 10,000 patrons.
Advance tickets can be purchased online at www.pinehurstconcours.com. Four additional ticket outlets scattered across Pinehurst and Southern Pines include:

• The Old Sport Gallery in Village of Pinehurst
• The Country Book Shop in Southern PinesThe day's ticket includes entry into the Pinehurst Concours AND the concert.
'As we move into our fourth year we're thrilled to see substantial growth and interest in the event,' said Pinehurst Concours president Jay Howard. 'We are thrilled to welcome the 2016 Concours d'Elegance back to Pinehurst for a fourth straight year,' said Village of Pinehurst Mayor Nancy Fiorillo. 'This event is something many members of our community now look forward to as a fixture on the calendar. The entire Pinehurst Concours executive and organizational team is to be commended for planning an event that includes something for everyone here in this beautiful home of American golf.' The Pinehurst Concours Best in Show winners have included a 1919 bright purple Pierce-Arrow Model 66 A-4 Tourer (2015), a midnight blue 1931 Cadillac 452A (2014) and a rare 1938 Steyr 220 Glaser Roadster (2013). The winners have been from the states of Georgia, Maryland and Pennsylvania. The event's Iron Mike Rally will be staged for a fourth year on Friday, April 29. Entrants have an opportunity to drive their vehicles in a 70-mile roundtrip caravan from Carolina Vista Drive in front of the Carolina Hotel to Fort Bragg to spend time with the troops. The 12 classes of cars competing for the Pinehurst Concours Best in Show, and the event's featured marques, will be announced soon, as will the headlining band and a few new events for 2016.
