NISSAN TO FEATURE TRIO OF 2016 TITAN XD MODELS, SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT AT 2015 SEMA SHOW
October 23, 2015 by Nissan
Nissan returns to the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show in Las Vegas, the premier automotive specialty products trade event in the world, featuring all-new 2016 TITAN XD full-size pickup trucks, a track-tuned GT-R and more.
A trio of all-new 2016 Nissan TITAN XD models will be shown at the SEMA Show. In Nissan's booth will be two – a specially outfitted Genuine Nissan Official Accessories TITAN XD Platinum Reserve featuring key components from a new, 50-plus piece accessory lineup. The truck's integrated gooseneck hitch will be hooked up to a trailer carrying a unique Cummins® Project TITAN XD (to be revealed at a press conference on Nov. 3 at 4 p.m. PST).
The third 2016 Nissan TITAN XD is a project collaboration with SEMA, resulting from a record-breaking 'measuring session' held in April. Based on a rugged PRO-4X model, the truck was delivered to SEMA headquarters in Diamond Bar, Calif. in September and has been undergoing extensive modification by SEMA and its members. It will be showcased in the SEMA display area in the Grand Lobby.
It would not be SEMA without a GT-R, and for the first time ever, Nissan will be showcasing the 2016 GT-R NISMO N-Attack Package. Developed by Nissan Motorsports International Co., Ltd., the NISMO N-Attack Package consists of the dedicated parts that were specially developed through the time attack project at Nürburgring in Germany, where the Nissan GT-R NISMO recorded the fastest-ever lap time for a volume production vehicle. In the U.S., Steve Millen Sportsparts Inc. (STILLEN) was chosen by NISMO as the official installer and certified sales agent for the package.
Also on display will be Nissan Motorsports components and NISMO parts from the U.S. and Japan.
