NISSAN STADIUM GETS A NEW MARQUEE SIGN

November 13, 2015 by Nissan

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Earlier this year, Nissan and the Tennessee Titans announced the formation of a 20-year, exclusive naming-rights partnership that rebrands Nashville's downtown stadium as Nissan Stadium. On Thursday, Nov. 12, the first, giant NISSAN marquee sign was raised on the stadium, calling even greater attention to Nissan's partnership with the Titans and its presence in Middle Tennessee.

Some quick facts on the new Nissan marquee:

◾It is one of the largest stadium signs in the world weighing approximately 35 tons.

◾The giant letters in 'NISSAN' are 15 feet tall; the 'STADIUM' letters are 7.5 feet tall.

◾The sign has the unique capability to support various community programs and national holidays by changing the color of the word 'Stadium.' (Example: green lighting for St. Patrick's Day, pink lighting for Breast Cancer Awareness games, camouflage design for Salute to Service events, etc.).

◾The sign is consistent with Nissan's commitment to sustainability with letters that feature energy-efficient LED lights.

◾The sign was designed and fabricated in Tennessee by Brand Imaging Group and A-1 Signs.

◾An identical sign will be placed on the west side of Nissan Stadium in the coming weeks along with additional Nissan activation on the stadium campus.
