Maserati starts 2016 with a new Italian sales recordIn the run-up to the launch of its new SUV, the House of the Trident opens 2016 on the domestic market with excellent sales figures on the domestic market

After a record-breaking 2014 and a 2015 which, with a total of 1,356 of new cars registered representing an increase of 10% over the previous year provided the best sales figures in Maserati's history in Italy, 2016 has opened with results that confirm a trend of constant growth over time.

Performance on the Italian market in January was excellent: the 130 new cars registered exceeded the 127 achieved in the same month of 2015.

Germany was outstanding amongst the main European markets, with 80 registrations marking an increase of 21%, helping to maintain the very positive trend at the start of the year.

In a climate of eager anticipation for the launch of the Maserati Levante SUV, scheduled for March at the Geneva Motor Show, these figures confirm the great success of the Maserati Quattroporte and Ghibli sedans, both available with petrol and diesel engines, the Q4 intelligent four-wheel drive system, and Ermenegildo Zegna silk interior trim.
