HYUNDAI VELOSTER IS ONE OF KBB.COM'S '10 COOLEST NEW CARS UNDER $18,000' FOR 2016
by Hyundai | May 19, 2016
FOUNTAIN VALLEY, Calif., May 19, 2016 – The 2016 Hyundai Veloster was named one of the '10 Coolest New Cars Under $18,000' by Kelley Blue Book's KBB.com. The trusted car experts recognized the vehicle for its unique styling and fun driving dynamics.
Two longstanding criteria, fun-to-drive and fun-to-own, are factors that determine which 2016 model-year vehicles make the list. Each vehicle also needs to be available for $18,000 or less.
'The Veloster does an outstanding job of combining cool, fun-to-drive, unique styling and advanced technologies, all while delivering value' said, Mike O'Brien, vice president, corporate and product planning, Hyundai Motor America. 'We will continue to place emphasis on designing vehicles that meet the hearts and minds of our customers.'
Veloster experienced sales gains during April 2016, up 69 percent, compared to the same time last year. The lineup offers convenience, safety and performance for 2016, with continuing appeal for the new Veloster Turbo. Both Veloster and Veloster Turbo models feature cutting-edge powertrain technologies like direct injection. Veloster appeals to youthful customers by combining excellent fuel economy, spirited performance and low emissions without compromise. For 2016, all Veloster models offer a revised hood appearance without vent accents, a dark gray grille surround, 10mm-wider tires fitted to all 18-inch wheels, and new audio/navigation system functions (HD Radio®, Apple Siri®, and next-generation Blue Link®).
