PENSKE AUTOMOTIVE GROUP'S JAGUAR LAND ROVER CENTRE DEBUTS NEW GLOBAL 'ARCH' RETAIL DESIGN STANDARDS◾New 36,600 sq. ft. Jaguar Land Rover Centre in Darien, CT is first in the US designed according to new global ARCH retail standards

◾ARCH retail design standard to be adopted by retailers nationwide creating modern dual branded retail environments

(MAHWAH, N.J.) – September 15, 2016 – Jaguar Land Rover announced today that Penske Automotive Group has opened the first Jaguar Land Rover retailer in the U.S., in Darien, CT, under the new British luxury car maker's global ARCH design standards. The new Jaguar of Darien and Land Rover of Darien dual branded facility combines the two storied and growing brands – Jaguar and Land Rover - and exemplifies a new generation of retail facilities being developed as the Jaguar and Land Rover businesses continue to expand.

The new 36,600 sq. ft. Darien, CT Jaguar Land Rover Centre features a 10 car showroom, a 25 bay service/detail workshop, and a drive through reception area that offers in-lane service diagnostics. Also featured is a Jaguar Land Rover boutique that showcases the latest accessories, wheels and brand merchandise.

Designed according to the new Jaguar Land Rover global ARCH retail design standards, the Darien dealership is distinguished by a modern sunshine gray rectangular façade; clean simple lines and dedicated Jaguar and Land Rover showrooms on the left and right respectively. Every ARCH facility will showcase the expanded Jaguar and Land Rover lineups and will prominently feature elements of glass, walnut and sophisticated lighting to give the space a fresh and luxurious feel. A majority of the retail network is expected to be completed under the new design by 2020, with an approximate total U.S. retailer investment of $1.5B.

The Jaguar Land Rover Centre in Darien marks Penske Automotive Group's fourth Jaguar Land Rover retail centre in the U.S., with an additional seven Jaguar and 12 Land Rover franchises throughout the U.K. Penske Automotive Group purchased Land Rover in Darien, CT in January 2015 and added Jaguar in June 2016.
