Worldwide Auctioneers' tenth annual Labor Day Weekend sale, The Auburn Auction, is scheduled for Saturday, September 2nd, with an outstanding selection of pre-and post-war American classics from the Jimmie Taylor Collection among the notable motorcars on offer at no reserve. The sale will once again take place in the historic setting of the National Auto & Truck Museum L29 Cord Building, a National Historic landmark within the Auburn Cord Duesenberg Museum complex. The Auburn Auction forms part of the celebrated Auburn Cord Duesenberg Festival, now in its 61st year,

The Jimmie Taylor Collection comprises over thirty imposing pre- and post-war classics, including a striking 1930 Cadillac V-16 Imperial Limousine, an impressive first year example of Cadillac's Landmark V-16 and a recipient of a Lion award at the Meadowbrook Concours d'Elegance. 'Here is a great collection of motorcars that is truly representative of America's mainstream auto industry, all offered for sale entirely without reserve,' said John Kruse, Principal & Auctioneer. 'We look forward to The Auburn Auction continuing to play a part in the tradition of Auburn's ACD Festival and Labor Day Weekend festivities, long a magnet for enthusiasts and collectors from across the country and beyond.'

Also on offer from the museum collection is a custom built 1940 Packard Super 8 Custom Town Car, with extremely rare style Panel Brougham coachwork by Rollson Inc., accompanied by copies of original body specifications, with vehicle history and restoration details chronicled in the Packard Cormorant, the international magazine of Packard. The Auburn Auction will also feature the remaining cars from the Chuck Runyon Collection, again offered for sale without reserve
