MG ZR With Just 759 Miles On The Clock For Auction With CCA•Believed to be the lowest mileage MG ZR available with just 759 miles from new.

•Stored and on SORN for most of its life.

•Expected to appeal to today's modern classic car collectors when offered with an estimate of £5,000 - £7,000.

A 2005 MG ZR with just 759 miles on the clock is heading to auction at Classic Car Auctions' (CCA) September Sale at the Warwickshire Exhibition Centre on 23rd September.

With a remarkably low mileage, the car is in almost-new condition having been placed on SORN and kept in storage shortly after it was purchased by its first and only owner.

Today the 3 door, 1.4 litre Mk II manual is likely to be the lowest mileage example around, having been carefully looked after and barely driven since it left the Birmingham factory 12 years ago. It is also one of the last examples ever made of the car, manufactured towards the end of the production run.

Presented in blue with a black check interior, both the exterior and interior of the car are in almost pristine condition offering a time-warp experience back to 2005, as well as the quick and sporty performance which made the model one of Britain's most popular sporting hatchbacks and the marque's best-selling car in its day.

With low mileage modern classics growing in appeal among car collectors, the preserved ZR is expected to sell for between £5,000 and £7,000 when it is offered at auction.

'This car is simply stunning in every respect!' states Simon Langsdale, classic car consignor, CCA. 'Low mileage modern classics are extremely popular these days, and I very much doubt there's another one in this condition and with this mileage out there.'
