Bonhams will offer a new masterpiece of automotive engineering – The Mercedes-Maybach G650 Landaulet, one of only 99 built – at its Zoute auction on 6 October. Bonhams is waiving its fees and returning All proceeds of the sale will be donated in their entirety to Laureus Sport for Good, a charity of which Mercedes-Benz is a global partner. They will donate the full proceeds of the sale to the Laureus Sport for Good Foundation. The foundation focuses on helping children and young people overcome violence, discrimination and disadvantage through sport.

The ultra-rare SUV was launched at the Geneva motor show, and by the time the show came to a close, the other 98 vehicles had already been sold. The production allocation for this particular vehicle was retained by Mercedes-Benz with the express purpose of supporting the Laureus Sport for Good foundation. As such, this will be the first time that any of the vehicles made will come to public auction, making this an exceedingly rare opportunity to own one of the most impressive, luxurious and sought-after 4x4 vehicles ever created. Due to the significant interest shown at the launch in Geneva, Bonhams expects the car to surpass its list price of €630,000 + VAT (payable in the country of import).
