Audi Teams Up With Reddit For The Second Installment Of The World's Fastest Livestream AMA Series, 'Think Faster'

•Collaboration marks the second time Audi will be hosting a Reddit AMA series from a brand user profile

HERNDON, Virginia, Monday December 4, 2017 – Audi of America and Reddit return to the tarmac to host episodes 3 and 4 of the 'Think Faster' series on Tuesday, December 5 at 3:30pm PST and Wednesday, December 6 at 1pm PST.

Following the success of the first 'Think Faster' series earlier this fall, which featured Elizabeth Banks and Adam Scott, the second installment will feature live interviews from the passenger seat of the 2018 Audi R8. Driven around the Willow Springs International Raceway in California, guests will experience speeds of up to 130 mph.

Journalist and producer, Selema 'Sal' Masekela, will host, and actors, Olivia Munn (Actress) and Issa Rae (Writer, Producer, Actress), will join in the passenger seat. Olivia and Issa will answer questions live – collected from each of their Reddit AMAs – via livestreams on YouTube, Twitter and Facebook, which will broadcast live from Audi's Reddit profile page.

The R8 features the same naturally aspirated V10 engine found in the R8 LMS racecar, a completely new application of quattro® all-wheel drive, and a more functional yet technologically advanced cabin. No other Audi model bears a closer tie to racing. The R8 features an updated seven-speed S tronic® dual-clutch transmission, which can shift gears in 120 milliseconds, the V10 model, with 540 hp and 398 lb-ft of torque reaches 60 mph in 3.5 seconds and top track speed of 199 mph.

The new top model, the R8 V10 plus with 610 hp and 413 lb-ft of torque, goes from zero to 60 mph in 3.2 seconds and can achieve a top track speed of 205 mph. Weighing approximately 77 pounds less than the R8 V10, the V10 plus features standard Audi carbon ceramic brakes, carbon fiber rear diffuser, front lip spoiler, exterior mirror housings and fixed rear wing spoiler, and for the first time in the U.S., racing shell seats.
