This summer, Renault is celebrating the Clio, a car born in the 90s and the original millennial, which has stood the test of time and never gone out of style. The car brand took over Hogarth House in the heart of London on Thursday 2nd August for an exclusive launch event, giving Londoners a chance to re-live a favourite decade: the 1990s.

The pop-up space was split in half: 90s nostalgia and modern day, with different elements bringing to life the technological, design and style journey of the Renault Clio from the 90s to present day.

Visitors had the chance to fully immerse themselves in a complete 90s throwback. In an ode to the best kids' parties, they snacked on Nerdz and party ring biscuits, had their tongues turn blue from Slushies, and got their friends in a knot with a classic game of Twister. Music from Britney Spears, STEPS and the Spice Girls (to name just a few), Tamagotchis, Pogs, video games and polaroid cameras also gave visitors flashbacks to long lost youths.

The modern day space featured nail artists, photo booths, and a unciorn wing feature wall ready for that perfect selfie. After bopping along to smash hits, visitors chilled in the seating area with swinging rattan chairs and snacked on unicorn cupcakes.

As part of the pop-up, visitors were also be able to check out both a 1990s Mk1 Clio and modern-day car model to see the Clio's transformation over the past 25 years. Remember the days where you had to roll down the windows to cool down, get out the map to see where you were going, and jam in a cassette to listen to tunes? Vistors also experienced the current generation Clio's intuitive technology, with MediaNav and Bluetooth allowing you to access all multimedia content in the blink of an eye, and high definition BOSE speakers letting you feel the intensity of the music.

The pop-up now moves onto the Bullring, Birmingham between the 9th and 16th of August before featuring as part of Stylist Live in Manchester between the 6th and 9th of September.
