Mitsubishi Motors Supporting The Asher House And Its Ambition To Help Get Dogs Out Of Shelters And Into Loving Homes

Mitsubishi Motors North America, Inc. (MMNA) today announced its support of Lee Asher and The Asher House, an organization that is taking action to help shelter dogs find loving homes across the country. To help aid in transporting his rescue dogs, Mitsubishi Motors gave Asher and his team an all-new 2018 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross.

'Our consumers have wide-ranging ambitions in life and Mitsubishi Motors is here to help drive those ambitions,' said Mark Chaffin, chief operating officer, MMNA. 'Lee started with a passion when he created The Asher House and it has become a movement to help raise awareness for rescue animals and shelters across the country; Asher's bold decision to take action on his ambition is admirable and we're privileged to be able to help support his mission.'

Asher's ambition to find homes for shelter dogs inspired him to quit his job in 2017 and fully devote himself to the cause. He raised enough money to purchase a recreational vehicle (RV) and started traveling across the United States to bring awareness to the plight of shelter dogs and hold adoption events. Asher's philosophy is to show people the amazing breeds that are inside the shelters as well as the loving bond people can share with adopted pets through fun and engaging content. To date, Asher has helped 146 dogs find loving forever homes.

As part of its vision to 'Drive your Ambition,' Mitsubishi Motors has committed to help power Asher's ambition. Along with the Eclipse Cross, Mitsubishi will also provide support for local market rescue events and social gatherings. The Eclipse Cross will be used by Asher to drive him and his team, including his six adopted dogs, to events throughout North America.
