McLaren Beirut confirms the arrival of two ground-breaking supercars from McLaren into the Lebanese market. The British creator of luxury sportscars and supercars will be presenting the sold-out McLaren Senna and limited McLaren 600LT at a number of exclusive media and customers events. Both vehicles will be also available for fan, car-spotter and customer viewings at the McLaren Beirut showroom.

'We are delighted to bring these two very special supercars into the Lebanese market. The sold-out Senna is the brand's ultimate road-legal track car, which has been inspired by the most legendary McLaren racing driver in history, and redefines the performance on the circuit. The new 600LT is the lightest, most powerful and extreme Sports Series yet, which has been engineered to provide the most thrilling driving experience. We look forward to presenting these beautiful vehicles to our customers and I want to thank McLaren Beirut for their support in nurturing McLaren culture in the country.'

Brett Soso, Managing Director – Middle East, Africa and Latin America, McLaren Automotive

'It is a very exciting time for McLaren Beirut as we unveil the first McLaren Senna to land in Lebanon, together with the astonishing new 600LT from the Sports Series range. The brand opened its doors for business to a phenomenal reception at the end of 2017, and with class-leading products like the 600LT, I am convinced its future in the country looks bright.'

Fayez Rasamny, Chairman and CEO, RYMCO (Rasamny Younes Motor Company)

The McLaren Senna sits in the brand's Ultimate Series and has been developed to deliver the most engaging road car experience from McLaren Automotive. The car offers the purest possible connection between the driver and car, which is achieved through a combination of low vehicle weight, extreme power, aerodynamic excellence and a revolutionary, active suspension system. Its first example arriving in Lebanon is finished in Graphite Grey and has just been delivered to McLaren enthusiast and entrepreneur Tarek Abu Ghazaleh in Beirut.

Making its long-anticipated debut is also the McLaren 600LT, which marks the beginning of the next chapter in the McLaren 'Longtail' (LT) story and sets a new sportscar benchmark as the fastest, most powerful and most track-focused – yet road legal – Sports Series. The car has been comprehensively re-engineered with minimised weight, optimised aerodynamics, increased power and a special focus on driver engagement. In its lightest specification, it weighs only 1,247kg dry, which in conjunction with 600PS and 620Nm generate acceleration figures of 2.9 seconds from 0-100 km/h and 8.2 seconds from 0-200 km/h. The state-of-the-art 3.8-litre, twin-turbocharged V8 engine has been optimised for increased powertrain engagement and combined with the trademark top-exit exhaust provides a thrilling sound-track to match the driving experience.

McLaren Beirut is operated by RYMCO from the state-of-the-art showroom located at 3 Beirut, Omar Daouk Street, Downtown – Solidere, Beirut.
