2019 Hyundai Santa Fe Receives Long-Term Ownership Value Award From Kelley Blue Book
February 8, 2019 by HyundaiCHICAGO, Ill. Feb. 7, 2019 – Building upon its recent awards for innovative design, the 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe is also a recipient of the 2019 Kelley Blue Book 5-Year Cost to Own Award for the mid-size SUV/crossover (2-row) class. The award was presented at the 2019 Chicago Auto Show. The lowest-projected ownership costs of new vehicles and brands are based on Kelley Blue Book's 5-Year Cost-to-Own data for new cars for the initial five-year ownership period. This data takes into consideration seven factors: depreciation, expected fuel costs, finance and insurance fees, maintenance and repair costs, and state fees. 'We are very proud of our new Santa Fe winning this award from the industry leader, Kelley Blue Book,' said Scott Margason, director, Product Planning, Hyundai Motor America. 'For the Santa Fe, this award is yet another indication that the all-new 2019 model has outstanding value and is a vehicle our customers can rely on for many years.' The Kelley Blue Book 5-Year Cost to Own Awards help shoppers make more informed new-car buying decisions by breaking down typical ownership cost details and naming the brands and models with the lowest projected five-year total.
