Mitsubishi Motors In The UK At The Commercial Vehicle Show 2019

Mitsubishi Motors in the UK is showcasing a unique one-off show truck as part of its strong presence at this year's Commercial Vehicle Show, which takes place at the NEC, Birmingham, from April 30 – May 2, 2019.

The Mitsubishi Motor stand (5D80 in Hall 5) features seven Mitsubishi vehicles, illustrating the diversity and versatility of its commercial vehicle range.

Mitsubishi L200 eSports Concept

The Mitsubishi L200 'eSports Concept', winner of the inaugural Mitsubishi Motors in the UK 'Truck King Battle', is set to be unveiled at the show on April 30.

Designed by Joanne Tulloch, Sales Administrator at Livery Dole Mitsubishi in Exeter, the Mitsubishi L200 eSports Concept features a rear gaming zone, bespoke seating and lighting, a refreshment bar and high-power audio system, as well as a special wheel and tyre package and numerous other modifications.

Mitsubishi Shogun Sport Commercial

The Mitsubishi Shogun Sport Commercial, which was unveiled at the 2018 Commercial Vehicle show, is aimed at business customers wishing to combine a tough and capable off-road commercial vehicle with high levels of luxury and standard equipment.

It features a flat rear load area that is 1m wide between the rear wheel arches and almost 2m deep, offering 1,488 litres (VDA) of easily-accessed cargo space. It also offers has a maximum load capacity of 605KG and a maximum towing capacity of 3.1 tonnes (braked), as well as an advanced 4WD system with low-ratio gearing, terrain selector system, lockable centre and rear differentials and Hill Descent Control.

Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV Commercial

The 2019 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV Commercial Vehicle combines the benefits of a green vehicle for deliveries in Ultra Low Emission Zones (ULEZ) with the ability to cover long distances when required and minimal down time associated with pure electric vehicles, such as seeking out charge points and battery recharging.

Classed as an Ultra-Low Emission Vehicle, the Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV Commercial is eligible for the UK government's Plug-In Van Grant, a saving of £7,902 resulting in an on-the-road price of just £25,121*.

The Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV Commercial is fitted with a full load bay bulkhead, a flat load area measuring 1,65m in length and 1m in width between the wheel arches with a maximum payload of 510kg. Based on the same sophisticated plug-in hybrid technology as the passenger car, it also offers the security of an advanced four-wheel drive system as well as impressive fuel economy (139mpg WLTP, 159mpg NEDC) an EV range of 28 miles WLTP (33 miles NEDC) and low CO2 emissions (46g/km WLTP, 40g/km NEDC).

Mitsubishi L200 Barbarian Black

Also on display is the new Mitsubishi L200 Barbarian Black double cab with a Mitsubishi Full Box (included in the Black package). Limited to just 500 examples, the Barbarian Black is equipped with 17-inch black alloy wheels and black detailing such as its grille, bumpers, door mirror covers, door handles, wheel arch extensions and side steps. This will be joined by a Mitsubishi L200 Single Cab and an L200 Club Cab which has been built to customer specification. Completing the line-up for will be a Police Specification Mitsubishi Shogun Sport.
