Sandhills Motoring Festival To Feature Classic, Collector, And Exotic Cars In The Village Of Pinehurst, Sunday May 26 With Free Spectator Admission

PINEHURST, NC - Sandhill Motoring Festival organizers today announced that Road Scholars will showcase a 1957 Porsche Speedster from the Ingram Collection that recently completed the epic 'California Mille', a one-thousand mile classic car rally.Charles Stanley, Marketing Director for Road Scholars, will be on hand to share what it's like driving a thousand miles in a sixty-plus year old car.

In addition, new supercars from McLaren and Ford will be joining the event.Marvin Waters, president of the Sandhills Motoring Festival, says these late additions reflects the growing interest in the festival among automotive enthusiasts.'So many collectors have reached out to us asking how they can be involved.We are happy to have a great variety of cars for spectators to enjoy in the beautiful village setting that is Pinehurst!'

Returning to the Sandhills Motoring Festival to defend his 'Best of Show' performance last year, collector Guy Lewis from Pinecrest, FL will be showing his 1953 Mercedes-Benz 300 S Coupe.This car took top 'Best in Class - Mercedes-Benz Post War' at the 2019 Amelia Island.

Where & When: The Sandhills Motoring Festival 'Concours in the Village' with over 125 classic and collector cars competing in various categories is free and open to the public and runs from 9am to 3pm on Sunday May, 26 in the Village of Pinehurst,

The Sandhills Motoring Festival will donate all of its proceeds to the Sandhills Community College Foundation to fund scholarships for students in automotive technologies program.
