Toyota drivers competed in NASCAR, NHRA and POWRi events over the Fourth of July weekend, logging top-10 finishes in each series.
'We worked on our Camry a lot,' said DiBenedetto. 'We got it much better handling. People are really sliding around a lot in the turbulence of the dirty air. We've got our car driving good. It leads really good if I can get there, so it has really good speed and it drives good now.'
After running towards the front of the field for much of the race, Toyota drivers Kyle Busch and Denny Hamlin were involved in an accident on lap 119 that also collected their teammates, Erik Jones and Martin Truex Jr. Justin Haley was the race winner.
In the NASCAR Xfinity Series race at the 2.5-mile track on Saturday night, Christopher Bell finished third, logging his fourth-consecutive top-10 finish at a superspeedway. A late-race wreck eliminated almost half of the field, allowing Bell a chance to work his way back to the front following an uncontrolled tire penalty to score his 10th top-five finish of the season.
'Overall, it was a great speedway season for us,' said Bell. 'I think we were sixth here in February, a third at Talladega and then a (third) here today. That's my best speedway season I've had in my career. Take that and try to learn from it. Really proud of these guys on the Ruud Supra.'
NHRA
Camry driver Shawn Langdon advanced to the Funny Car finals at the NHRA New England Nationals at New England Dragway on Sunday. It marked Langdon's 32nd career final round appearance in Mello Yello Drag Racing Series competition.
'We just made some great runs today in our Global Electronic Technology Toyota,' said Langdon. 'These guys made some really good calls to give me a great car. We were able to go some rounds at a critical time of the year as we start to get closer to the Countdown. Our Camry is responding well and the guys have been working really hard. We're heading in the right direction at the right time.'
Langdon's Funny Car teammate, J.R. Todd advanced to the second round after being the top qualifier for the second time in the last four races earlier in the weekend.
Richie Crampton led Toyota drivers in Top Fuel, advancing to the semifinals while Antron Brown also earned a round win.
POWRi
Logan Seavey held off fellow Toyota driver Cannon McIntosh to win the POWRi Lucas Oil National Midget League's 38th annual Pepsi Nationals at Angell Park Speedway in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin on Sunday. It was the 10th-consecutive victory for a Toyota-powered driver at the Pepsi Nationals.
'That was a really fun race track,' said Seavey. 'I always love coming to this place and seeing the atmosphere the fans create. I led a bunch of laps here last year and lost it on the last lap, so it's nice to come back and redeem ourselves.'
The win is the fourth for Seavey in the last five races and marks his seventh in 11 POWRi races this season. With 20 races remaining, Seavey is just four wins shy of Christopher Bell's POWRi single-season record of 11 victories set in 2014.

The ARCA Menards Series returns to action with a race at Elko (Minn.) Speedway on July 13 at 10 p.m. EDT on MAVTV. Also racing on Sunday is the POWRi Lucas Oil National Midget League which will race a doubleheader at Missouri's Valley Speedway on July 12-13.

PLANO, Texas (July 8, 2019) –NASCAR- In a rain-shortened NASCAR Cup Series event on Sunday, Matt DiBenedetto (eighth) was the highest-finishing Camry driver at Daytona International Speedway. It was his second top-10 finish in his last three races.
All three NASCAR national series will race at Kentucky Speedway with the Truck Series kicking things off on Thursday, July 11 at 8:30 p.m. EDT on FS1. The Xfinity Series will race on Friday, July 12 at 7 p.m. EDT on NBCSN and the Cup Series will close out the weekend on Saturday, July 13 at 7 p.m. EDT on NBCSN.
