A Fully Charged Victory As Nissan Leaf E+ Named 'Product Of The Year' At 2019 Pocket-Lint Awards

LONDON, UK (November 15, 2019) – The Nissan LEAF e+ has been named overall 'Product of the Year' as well as 'Best Car' at the EE Pocket-lint Awards 2019. The awards celebrate the best technologies, gadgets and games of the last 12 months, as voted for by both the industry and general public.

Shortlisted from the hundreds of products Pocket-lint reviewed this year, the final 19 winners are the best of the best in their categories. In the 'Best Car' award, the LEAF e+ championed over a shortlist including models from Audi, Mercedes and Tesla, whilst in the overall 'Product of the Year' category, Nissan's 100% electric vehicle was recognised above products from brands including Apple, Nintendo, Sony and Amazon.

Commenting on the LEAF's performance in the awards, the Pocket-lint judges said; 'The Nissan LEAF is one of our favourite cars and the e+ takes the range to a higher level.
