Gary Dunne, CCA's Sales Manager commented 'We have set up at Stoneleigh Park in Warwickshire for the purposes of offering viewing of the cars in person, prior to the auction days. This has allowed interested bidders to inspect any vehicles of interest and to satisfy themselves as to the condition of the cars. This has been controlled, with buyers booking appointments, social distancing being maintained, and masks also being worn whilst inside.'

Gary continued, 'We have extended our viewing window into Friday morning due to popular demand so please ensure you call our team on 01926 640888 to book a last-minute slot for Thursday 17th or the morning of Friday 18th.'

There are many special cars in the line-up including two very different, yet very exciting, Audi UR Quattro Turbos. The first has been in hibernation for 26 years and is a wonderful barn find! Whilst it will need substantial work to restore it, this is an exciting project from 1985 and is estimated at £8,000 - £10,000. The second example is simply the Holy Grail of UR Quattro with just one owner from new. The 1991 2.2 RR 20V example scored a phenomenal 125 out of 135 in CCA's condition report and this top of the range modern classic even comes with its original Bill of Sale from 1991. Estimated at £60,000 - £70,000, both Audis will be offered in the Saturday sale.

In the Friday sale, which is dedicated specifically to The Warwickshire Collection, a superbly restored 1953 Sunbeam Alpine Special will be gong under the hammer. Just 93 of these cars were built, this example is one of the 43 right-hand drive models and it is thought that just 33 of these classics survive today! Estimated at £20,000 - £25,000, it is beautifully restored and finished in Sapphire Blue – the same specification which featured in the 1955 Alfred Hitchcock film, 'To Catch a Thief'.

Going back to day two of the sale, which will see 145 classics offered, that includes a right-hand drive, manual 1990 Ferrari 348 TB which is one of just 130. This Rosso Corsa over tan leather example has covered less than 44,000 miles and this too scored well in CCA's condition report, with 108 out of 135. Estimated at £40,000 - £50,000. Lot 660 is a stunning 1961 Jaguar Mk2 in Sherwood Green and it benefitted from a comprehensive bare metal restoration in 2012 and a complete engine rebuild. With further upgrades too, it has had little use since, and it is superb – estimated at £30,000 - £35,000.

The auction is taking place over two days, with the auction commencing at 12pm on Friday 18th and 11am on Saturday 19th September. The link to live stream the auction will be on the CCA homepage on the auction days.

For this auction, the buyers premium is 11% + VAT and bidding is available online with either The Saleroom or Proxibid, on the telephone or via a commission (pre) bid.
