Mercedes-Benz Launches Servicecare Complete And Maintenance For Esprinter And Evito

Mercedes-Benz Vans UK Ltd has launched new ServiceCare Complete and Maintenance plans for both eSprinter and eVito.

ServiceCare Maintenance

The first is a ServiceCare Maintenance plan, which enables the cost of up to six services to be spread without entering into a credit agreement, enabling a cost-effective way for van operators to maintain cashflow while ensuring expert technicians uphold the vehicles' high standards.

Available on any Mercedes-Benz van of any age - the plan works out cheaper than booking services individually, and it can be paid monthly Direct Debit or in one upfront lump sum. ServiceCare Maintenance plans also fix costs at today's rate, protecting against increases in labour rates, parts, prices and inflation for the duration of the plan.

ServiceCare Maintenance plans are available from £10 per month, with savings of up to 47% saving versus the equivalent combustion engine (based on two eSprinter services).

ServiceCare Complete

The second is a ServiceCare Complete plan, which covers all the variable and unforeseen costs of running a vehicle for the life of the agreement. These are bespoke plans for individual customer businesses that can be arranged and tailored directly with the Mercedes-Benz Vans Dealer Network (only available for vans up to 4 years old from date of registration).

The ServiceCare Complete plan includes: all services (as required to vehicle servicing schedule - determined by ASSYST); all MOT test fees; all friction components - e.g. wiper blades, brakes and clutch components; repair or replacement of all engines, gearboxes, alternators, axles, bearings, and mechanical components; all electrical components fitted at factory, including engine management systems and air conditioning; and DVSA inspections where applicable, as standard during the life of the agreement

ServiceCare Complete plans can then be further customised by adding cover for the specifics required, including tyres (includes damage and punctures), and ancillary equipment such as tail-lifts and fridges - including servicing according to the manufacturer's guidelines.

There are savings of up to 20% on ServiceCare Complete versus the equivalent combustion engine, for the same operation (based on eVito Complete three year contract, 25-30,000 miles, standard operation).

Additional benefits

ServiceCare is part of a range of servicing and repair options to suit every business, which can also be booked online, with most of the nationwide network of Mercedes-Benz Vans Dealers working until midnight and over a third round-the-clock, to keep vehicles running at their peak performance.

Every service also triggers free, Europe-wide Mobilovan roadside assistance, giving the reassurance that the vehicle covered until the next service is due. There is also a two-year guarantee on all parts and labour, with only Mercedes-Benz GenuineParts fitted, which are also competitively priced and fitted faster and easier by Mercedes-Benz trained technicians to keep vehicles in peak condition.

Simon Neill, Customer Operations Director, said: 'We know that ServiceCare plans provide an attractive option for van owners and operators to ensure their vehicle maintenance is taken care of, so we're pleased to extend this to offering our electric van range. We know that our customers need our support more than ever, so these new ServiceCare plans for eVito and Sprinter will ensure that we continue to keep our customers' businesses moving as effectively and efficiently as possible.'
