PEUGEOT is continuing its relationship with the British School of Motoring (BSM), with the driving school having welcomed more than 200 PEUGEOT 208 models to join its fleet. Since the relationship began in 2015, PEUGEOT's model range has become a favourite among students and driving instructors, with BSM looking to add further PEUGEOT 208 models over the next year.
Since the relationship began in 2015, PEUGEOT has provided approximately 4000 cars to BSM, with the organisation's driving instructors continuing to praise PEUGEOT's cars as being among their most popular to teach in. Founded in 1910, BSM has become one of the UK's leading driving schools, with an honour roll that includes none other than Queen Elizabeth II herself.
BSM plan to further bolster the cars available through their service with more than 750 PEUGEOT's set to be ordered over the coming year, which includes additional 208 models and the recently updated new 308.
Robert Cowell, Interim Managing Director of BSM said: 'We frequently update our fleet to offer the best choice for instructors and are delighted to add the latest version of the PEUGEOT 208. The new models have gone down well with instructors and it is a modern, comfortable car for pupils to learn in.'
BSM are receiving petrol variants of the PEUGEOT 208 Allure Premium. With prices for Allure Premium models starting from £19,975, this trim level comes with a choice of three petrol engines:
•1.2L PureTech 100 S&S 6-speed manual
•1.2L PureTech 130 EAT8 S&S 8-speed automatic
Allure Premium models also offer a 1.5L Blue HDi 100 S&S diesel engine, as well as a full electric variant.
Allure models come with 16-inch 'Soho' alloy wheels (16-inch 'Elborn' alloy wheels on e-208), a gloss black B-pillar, tri-material 'Cozy' leather-effect seat trim with double stitch detail and PEUGEOT's signature 'Claw Effect' full LED 3D rear-light clusters. Allure Premium models include all of the features on the standard Allure trim level, with the addition of PEUGEOT's 3D i-Cockpit® and Visio Park 1.
