Hyundai Motor UK is the Fastest Growing Manufacturer for True Fleet Sales

Thanks to the launch of a range of new plug-in hybrid and electric vehicles, Hyundai's UK True Fleet sales grew by 104% year-on-year. The impressive growth is the result of a deliberate strategy to deliver more sustainable fleet sales by not only having the right products for fleet customers, but also the right service and the right level of awareness. The Hyundai line-up has been bolstered with a number of advanced alternative-fuel vehicles that bring enormous benefits for both end-users and fleet managers, including the fully electric IONIQ, Kona Electric and IONIQ 5. IONIQ 5 delivers for fleet users with best in class charging specs, meaning a full charge in 18 mins with an ultra-rapid charger. The new E-GMP platform creates a flat floor for significantly increased interior space, while a moveable centre console and V2L technology – allowing for electronics like laptops to be charged – optimises the ability for company car drivers to conduct business inside the vehicle. Hyundai's petrol-electric models, like TUCSON Plug-in Hybrid and Santa Fe Plug-in Hybrid have a usable electric range of nearly 40 miles and low Benefit-in-Kind (BiK) taxation of 11%. Santa Fe is also one of a handful of vehicles that offers seven seats with a plug-in hybrid powertrain. Even with the achievements of 2021, Hyundai Motor UK is aiming for continued success in True Fleet for 2022 and beyond. In the last 12 months, it has increased the number of end user policy agreements by a further 25% and over a third of those new customers either bought a car or had one on order.
