Citroën celebrates 'Power To The People' with electric and hybrid offers

Citroën is continuing its commitment to making electrified mobility accessible to all with a limited-time event offering customer additional savings across New C5 Aircross Plug-in Hybrid, New C5 X Plug-in Hybrid and ë-C4 Electric. Beginning on World EV Day (09 September), the 'Citroën EVent' offers will be available to retail and Citroën and You customers in retailers across the UK until 12 September.
The four-day event will celebrate the launch of New C5 X and New C5 Aircross in the UK, as well as ë-C4 Electric by reinforcing the brand's 'Power to The People' philosophy. The philosophy is a fundamental part of Citroën's Fair Pricing policy, meaning that the brand is committed to making electrification accessible to all by offering 'every kind of electric for all kinds of people'.
Throughout the 'Citroën EVent', additional savings of £750 are available, on top of the current sales campaign, across New C5 X Plug-in Hybrid, New C5 Aircross Plug-in Hybrid and ë-C4 Electric.
New C5 X Plug-in Hybrid offers customers a unique blend of saloon elegance, estate levels of practicality and modern SUV styling. In addition to its head-turning good looks, New C5 X Plug-in Hybrid offers unrivalled comfort thanks to the Citroën Advanced Comfort® programme including Citroën Advanced Comfort® Seats and Citroën Advanced Comfort® Suspension. It also features Citroën's latest infotainment system with a 12-inch HD touchscreen, while also debuting the latest safety technologies, including Active Safety Brake and Collision Risk Alert. The PureTech 180 petrol engine is paired with an 81kW electric motor producing a combined 225hp and 360Nm of torque and is capable of up to 37 miles in full electric mode (EAER WLTP Combined). New C5 X Plug-in Hybrid is available from £36,470 before the 'Citroën EVent' saving is applied.
New C5 Aircross features updated styling with a bold front-end design with new lights and a new grille to add a robust stance to the vehicle. The rear has also been enhanced with a more angular design to the lights. New C5 Aircross also benefits from Citroën's Advanced Comfort® programme, featuring Citroën Advanced Comfort® Suspension, the latest Advanced Comfort® Seats and unparalleled cabin space. New C5 Aircross also features a 12.3-inch driver's display and a new 10-inch HD touchscreen to allow easy control of the car's infotainment and vehicle settings. New C5 Aircross Plug-in Hybrid features a 180hp PureTech petrol engine with an 80kW electric motor delivering 225hp with up to 38 miles of electric-only range (EAER WLTP Combined). New C5 Aircross Plug-in Hybrid is available from £35,835 before the 'Citroën EVent' saving is applied.
ë-C4 Electric will also be available with customer savings at the event. Like New C5 Aircross Plug-in Hybrid and New C5 X Plug-in Hybrid, ë-C4 Electric benefits from the latest technologies in the Citroën Advanced Comfort® programme with a focus on every aspect of onboard wellbeing. ë-C4 Electric features a 50kWh lithium-ion battery pack paired with a 136hp electric motor producing 260Nm of torque. The efficient powertrain delivers a range of up to 219 miles (WLTP) and supports 100kW rapid charging, which enables an 0-80% charge in as little as 30 minutes. ë-C4 Electric is available from £30,995 before the 'Citroën EVent' saving is applied.
