Mecum Auctions to Return to State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona

Estimated 2,000 Vehicles and 150 Road Art Items to Cross the Block March 28-April 1

Following $66.3 million in total sales on a 78% sell-through of 1,657 lots at Mecum Glendale 2022, Mecum Auctions, host of The World's Largest Collector Car Auction®, will return to State Farm Stadium this March 28-April 1 for its fifth annual auction in Glendale, Arizona, with an estimated 2,000 vehicles and approximately 150 pieces of Road Art and memorabilia items to be offered.

Headlining the featured lots is a 1955 Mercedes-Benz 300SL Gullwing that boasts its rebuilt, original, matching-numbers 3.0L fuel-injected inline 6-cylinder engine and is the only known example delivered in Mittelgrün over green and gray leather of the 1,400 produced between 1954 and 1957. A 1968 Chevrolet Yenko Camaro RS/SS that is one of a purported 64 Yenko Super Camaros, and one of just 11 RS/SS Yenko Camaros made in 1968, will also headline the Glendale lineup, and the desirable driver has been in the possession of its current owner for the last 42 years.

The Mile High Collection will return to Mecum Glendale with an impressive selection of 18 lots of mostly modern, highly optioned and low-mileage Ford models, all of which will be offered at no reserve, including four 2022 Ford Broncos. One is a 2022 Ford Bronco Black Diamond that has been driven just 728 miles and is powered by a 2.3L EcoBoost engine and 7-speed manual transmission; there is also a 2022 Ford Bronco Raptor showing 80 miles with a 3.0L/418 HP twin-turbo EcoBoost V-6 and 10-speed automatic transmission, a 2022 Ford Bronco WildTrak with a 2.7L EcoBoost V-6 engine, automatic transmission, 4-wheel drive and the Mid and Sasquatch packages, and another 2022 Ford Bronco Raptor —this one with 165 miles and a 3.0L Ecoboost twin-turbocharged V-6 engine and automatic transmission.

The Premier Corvette Pace Car Collection includes 18 lots, eight of which are Pace Car Editions as authorized by Indy 500 officials. Two other cars in the collection were used as race-official Pace Cars; one is a 2005 Chevrolet Corvette Pace Car (Lot F78.1) that is one of eight Official Indy 500 Pace Cars from 2005, and the other is a 2006 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 Pace Car (Lot S64.1) that is one of six for 2006.
