The first Sotheby's Motorsport Auction Runs From August 15 - 22, 2023 timed with Monterey Car Week

Today, Sotheby's Motorsport's inaugural auction - a 2022 Ferrari SF90 Spider - begins and commemorates the launch of the new online automotive auction destination. Offered without reserve, global bidding for the Ferrari starts at $100,000 and will run from today at 7:00pm Eastern until 7:00pm Eastern on August 22.

When Ferrari created the SF90 Spider, it successfully defined a modern hybrid hypercar segment. SF90 - a namesake commemorating 90 years of the manufacturer's motorsport heritage - marked the debut of its inaugural mid-engine all-wheel-drive production car. An icon fit to wear its coat of arms, this SF90 Spider flaunts Scuderia shields atop Rosso Corsa with Nero leather interior. It has a breathtaking hybrid powertrain delivering an astounding 1000 horsepower, the SF90 Spider propels you from 0 to 60 mph in just 2.5 seconds. This particular vehicle has only 300 miles on the odometer, and touts a Twin-Turbo 4.0L V8 Plug-in Hybrid engine. It is offered with a clean Florida title in the selling dealer's name, a clean CARFAX report, and original accessories.

The 2022 Ferrari SF90 Spider touts some impressive capabilities and features, including:

• A simplified retractable hardtop and aluminum was used in its creation, saving about 88 pounds over a traditional hardtop;

• Shift times are reduced to 200 milliseconds, which is approximately 30% less than the previous seven speed dual-clutch transmission; and

• Four progressive drive modes: E-Drive, Hybrid, Performance, and Qualify. 1000 horsepower available in Qualify mode.
