To commemorate the 70th anniversary of Casino Royale, the first of the films to feature Ian Flemming's iconic spy hero, James Bond, Sotheby's is holding an exciting James Bond on Bond Street sale, which features two incredible cars synonymous with the blockbuster movies.

There is no model of car that shouts 'Bond' louder than an Aston Martin DB5, a car which has featured in so many films from the model's debut with Sean Connery in Goldfinger though to guest appearances in films featuring Pierce Brosnan and Daniel Craig. The car offered is a 1964 example previously owned by Prince Sadruddin Aga Khan and boasts a full two-year restoration that was completed by marque specialists Pugley & Lewis in 2016. Presented in its stunning factory-correct shade of Goodwood Green, this fine example is powered by its matching-numbers 4.0-litre straight-six engine. This RHD DB5 was delivered new to the UK and boasts a recent string of upgrades helping make it the ultimate grand tourer. These include a high-output alternator, a new air conditioning system, and LED headlamps. For anyone wishing to indulge in their own spy fantasies, this wonderful DB5 is estimated to sell for between £500,000 - 550,000 GBP.

The 1987 Aston Martin V8 Volante to feature in the sale has true, blue-chip Bond provenance, having been ordered new by Bond producer legend Albert 'Cubby' Broccoli and remaining in his ownership through to his death in 1996. With paperwork supporting Broccoli's acquisition of the car, this fine example retains its matching-numbers 5.3-litre V-8 engine and is also offered in its factory-correct colour scheme of Cannock Black over Natural leather. A wonderful example with remarkable ownership history, it shows only 19,020 miles on the clock and is estimated to sell for between £120,000 - 140,000 GBP.
